This rug is made using a Dollar Tree bath mat and Dollar Tree yarn.
Once you learn the technique you can sit down, watch your favorite movie and make dozens of pom Poms. It’s kind of like knitting or crocheting as far as the redundancy, which for me is so therapeutic. I love to stay busy. I say it’s like crocheting or knitting, but in actuality, it’s much easier to master the technique.
Now that I figured out how to do it, my mind is racing with lots of other pom pom rugs I want to make. It would be a great graduation gift, baby shower gift, in fact I might make one for my son and put a football design in the middle with his favorite sports team colors.
