Here's the template for the no-sew gnome hats.
The template I made is approximately 4" in diameter for the brim. The top of the hat is approximately 7" high. Hopefully that will give you a reference if you want to scale yours up or down!
How to use the template
Download the image onto your device. Then input it into a word document. I sized mine as large as it could fit within the margins of a regular piece of printable paper. If you do not know how to do this, here is a link to a tutorial with full details: (74) How to Insert Pictures in Microsoft Word 2019. MS Word Tutorial - YouTube
Thanks Amy so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks, lots of ideas now
ReplyDeleteHow do I know the size of the patterns?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much
ReplyDeleteI can never print your templates what am I doing wrong ?
ReplyDeleteI just went to the search this blog and typed in what I was trying to print and it came up.
DeleteI love the idea of glueing but my brim is bigger than the hat. Am I suppose to leave a 1/4 in for seams? I am working with black and it shows the leaked glue. Help
ReplyDeleteFor the hat pattern all I could see was the giant hat image on this page. I right clicked on the giant hat image and did a Save As then when I opened the saved file it was a normal size and I printed as usual. This worked for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I could not get it the right size on my own. Then I saw your comment and it worked. Thanks
DeleteWhen I cut out my brim it’s to big for the hat and doesn’t look like eye it’s a circle what am I’m doing wrong?
