I can’t believe how much fun I’ve had making Gnome shoes. Every shape and color is done with the same basic techniques. I have a special trick for adding legs to your gnomes and attaching the shoes. It’s so fast and easy. Check out the full YouTube tutorial for details.

No Sew Felt Gnome Shoes

Are you looking for a fun and easy craft to do with your kids? If so, you should try making DIY no sew felt gnome shoes. These shoes are easy to make and they're a lot of fun for kids of all ages.

To make DIY no sew felt gnome shoes, you'll need the following supplies:

Felt in two colors (one for the body of the shoe and one for the sole)
Scissors
A glue gun
A needle and thread (optional)
Embellishments (optional)

Once you have your supplies, follow these steps:

In order to transform Dollar Tree items into lanterns, at times I melt off a plastic top, or melt a hole into plastic cup in order to string wire. These are very basic, simple transformations that do no require any special skills. In fact, when I first started melting holes into plastic I simply used my hot glue gun, but at times in order to be more precise and accurate, a smaller hot iron tool makes it so much easier. That is when I searched out a Welling tool. It's funny because for years I thought it was a Welding tool. Actually, in order to find the tool I needed on Amazon, I searched welding tools until I saw a picture of what I wanted.

The brand I use is Welling, but just like hot glue guns, there are other brands that I'm sure could do the same thing, I just haven't ever tried them. My Welling tool came with a few welding accessories, that I have no idea how to use. I have never even considered doing any real welding. I am a do it yourselfer, but welding is definitely not in my wheelhouse. I will leave that to the professionals. I will say that if you can use a hot glue gun then you can definitely use a Welling tool. This is my second most used tool in crafting only after my hot glue gun. Once you get the hang of using one, you will never want to go back since it will open up so many new ideas for you.
